Back when Wordle was at the absolute peak of its popularity, social media would go ballistic if that day’s Wordle was a doozy. But what was the toughest Worldle of 2022?

This is precisely what gaming site im-a-puzzle attempted to figure out, trawling through data stored in a Twitter API called WordleStats. How does it work? Well, remember when absolutely everyone was posting their Wordle attempts on Twitter? WordleStats has been collecting that data, and calculating difficulty based on the relative success and failure of each puzzle.

So what were the hardest words? According to the numbers they are…

And to be honest? Some of these check out. A number of them — like FOYER or TACIT — feel like words I’d accidentally spell incorrectly. Others like PARER barely feel like words that actually exist. All of them, outside maybe CATER or FOUND, feel like words that might be difficult to solve using traditional Wordle techniques (loading up on vowels early, for example.)

But we absolutely have to take this study with the proverbial grain of salt. Especially given that it was based on users posting on Twitter. It’s very possible that more people failed on less obvious words that we didn’t post on Twitter. Or that people were more likely to post successes if the word

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever landed in theaters Friday, bringing us back to the technologically advanced African nation as its people grieve the loss of King T’Challa. It’s the 30th Marvel Cinematic Universe movie, the sequel to 2018 megahit Black Pantherand includes the most touching post-credits scene you can imagine.

T’Challa, who held the Black Panther mantle in addition to his royal status, was played by Chadwick Boseman, who died from colon cancer at the age of 43 in 2020. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige promised that Boseman wouldn’t be replaced in the role, and the movie sees the debut of a new Black Panther.

And if you stick around after the credits roll, you’ll also be treated to an unexpected part of T’Challa’s legacy.

Having achieved peace with Namor and allowed herself to truly feel, for the first time, the loss of T’Challa, new Black Panther Shuri (Letitia Wright) burns her funeral garb on a beach in Haiti, symbolizing the end of her grieving process.

Having given Shuri enough space, T’Challa’s former girlfriend Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o) steps out onto the beach with a little boy (Divine Love Konadu-Sun). She introduces him as Toussaint, the son she secretly had with T’Challa.

Shuri notes that Toussaint is a name with a lot of history — she’s presumably referring to Toussaint Louverture, the

Dish Network-owned Boost Mobile is getting into financial services with the launch of OmniMoney, a basic banking service at people who can’t access traditional bank accounts. It’s a service that Boost CEO Stephen Stokols hopes will make the brand “stickier to existing customers” and attract new ones. This comes at a time when the company very much needs to attract new customers, as the Boost brand continues to lose subscribers and Dish is struggling to get a viable 5G network off the ground. At least part of that plan includes offering “basic no-fee banking services” except, well, there are fees.

To be clear, Boost Mobile is not becoming a bank. It’s licensing the service from a company called Alviere, which handles the banking bit and is an FDIC member. OmniMoney by Boost, as it is formally branded, doesn’t require a credit check to open an account. There’s no minimum balance requirement, and no monthly fees as long as the account is active in a 12-month time period.

That all sounds quite generous, but the fees creep in when you deposit money to your account. One of Boost’s selling points for the new service is the ability to deposit cash into your account at a Boost retail store, but there’s a $4 fee every time you do.
