General Motors has announced the first vehicles to access its recently-expanded Super Cruise hands-free driver assistance system (ADAS).

Super Cruise is available only on certain roads, with GM announcing an expansion to its network back in August. The expansion doubled the size of the Super Cruise network in North America and Canada, which covers over 400,000 miles of roads. now, GM has revealed the first vehicles to have access to this expansion:

Access will only be available to models built on October 3, 2022 or later, with these vehicles expected to arrive with customers by mid-November. Other Super Cruise-enabled vehicles will also be granted access to the expanded road network via over-the-air updates in the coming months. These updates will be automatically downloaded by eligible vehicles.

GM also confirmed in its press release that Super Cruise will be made available to a total of 22 vehicles globally by the end of 2023, with Ultra Cruise (GM’s answer to Tesla’s “Full Self Driving” package) coming to unspecified “premium” vehicles at a later date.

There’s an automotive adage that says the best Porsche 911 is the one you can afford, and indeed, the standard Carrera coupe is really stinkin’ good. Making its debut Tuesday, the new Carrera T builds off that intrinsic 911 greatness, adding a number of performance goodies from higher-spec Porsches that make it the absolute ace of base.

The new Carrera T has the same 3.0-liter twin-turbo flat-6 engine as the standard 911, making 379 horsepower and 331 pound-feet of torque. But while the base 911 Carrera can only be paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, the T comes with the optional seven-speed manual found on the Carrera S. With the manual, Porsche says the 911 Carrera T can accelerate to 60 mph in 4.3 seconds, but if you opt for the no-cost PDK dual-clutch automatic, that time is reduced to 3.8 seconds. Regardless of transmission, the Carrera T tops out at 181 mph.

Porsche’s torque-vectoring tech and active sport suspension are standard on the 911 T, which is cool because these aren’t available on the base Carrera and are extra-cost options on the more powerful Carrera S. The Carrera T also comes with Porsche’s Sport Chrono package, which adds different drive modes and launch control if you get the PDK, as well as staggered 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels. A sport exhaust system is also standard, and if you want, you can add rear-axle steering — something else you can’t get on the base Carrera.

Apple is working on a brand new “Custom Accessibility Mode” for iOS, according to evidence found by 9to5Mac in the second iOS 16.2 developer beta. The company apparently says this mode offers a “customizable, streamlined way to use your iPhone and iPad,” which seems to mean you’ll be able to adjust some settings to make your iOS devices easier to use.

With the new mode, “users will be able to set things like UI and larger text, apps available on the Home Screen, allowed contacts, and access to hardware buttons for when Custom Accessibility Mode is enabled,” 9to5Mac reports. In screenshots shared by the outlet, you can see how the mode enables things like much larger app icons, a big back button, and a simpler UI in the Messages app.

If it’s released, Custom Accessibility Mode would add to iOS’s already impressive suite of useful accessibility features, but unfortunately, we don’t know when the mode will actually be available. 9to5Mac says it found Custom Accessibility Mode “under the hood” of the second iOS 16.2 beta and that it’s not something people on the beta update can actually use right now, which could point to the feature arriving much later in the future. Apple didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.

When someone suggested I select the “best documentary on Netflix” I started sweating. immediately. I maintain CNET’s list of best documentaries. I watch almost every documentary, be it movie or miniseries, as soon as they’re released.

And folks, Netflix has a lot of good documentaries.

I’d argue documentaries are the best thing about Netflix, period. There’s genre-defining true-crime series like Making a Murderer, Oscar-winning movies like Icarus, incredible nature docos like Our Planet. That’s before we even mention viral hits like Tiger King or Drive to Survive.

It’s almost impossible to choose just one.

But the nature of our recommendations at CNET is to choose something audiences might have missed, or something underrated. That’s why we tend to call out shows like Dark or For All Mankind on Apple TV Plus over established classics like Stranger Things.

So in that spirit, I am selecting Untold as my pick for best documentary series on Netflix. Because it’s rules. It rules so goddamn much.
