Batman actor Kevin Conroy has died at 66 after a “short battle with cancer,” his representatives confirmed on Friday. He was best known for voicing DC’s iconic superhero in Batman: The Animated Series and the Arkham video games.

After starting his career on stage (he played Hamlet in 1984) and showing up in TV shows like Dynasty, Another World and Cheers, Conroy was cast in a career-defining role as Batman, with the animated series kicking off in 1992.

“Kevin’s warm heart, delightfully deep laugh and pure love of life will be with me forever,” Andrea Romano, the director who cast Conroy in the role, said in a statement.

He also played the superhero in DC’s followup shows Batman Beyond, Justice League and Justice League Unlimited, in addition to several animated movies, like the incredible Mask of the Phantasm. He portrayed a live-action version of the character in the Arrowverse’s 2019 Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover events.

Earlier this year, Conroy wrote a deep personal story for the DC Pride 2022 comic anthology about how coming out as gay helped him find his voice as Bruce Waynewhose crusade against crime is driven by the pain of witnessing his parents’ murder.

Hulu offers subscribers hundreds of shows and movies, and not all of them will be your cup of tea. But whenever you login to your account, you see the program you gave up on peering up at you from the Keep Watching list, like a pet in those gut-wrenching Sarah McLachlan ASCPA commercials.

Thankfully, there are ways to remove your abandoned show or movie from your Hulu Keep Watching list. Here’s how.

Remove a Hulu show or movie from your computer

1. Open and log in to Hulu using any web browser.

2. Scroll until you see the Keep Watching list.

3. Click the three dots underneath the show or movie’s title card.

4. Click Remove.

5. Click ok.

The show or movie will be removed from the Keep Watching list. This also resets your watch progress for a show or movie, taking you back to either the first episode of the show or the start of the film.

Remove a Hulu show or movie from your mobile device or tablet

1. Open the Hulu app and log in to your account.

2. Scroll until you see the Keep Watching list.

3. Tap the three dots underneath the show or movie’s title card.

4. Tap Remove from Watch History.

5. Tap Remove.

Removing a show or movie from your Keep Watching list removes it across your devices as long as you’re logged into the same account, so you don’t have to do this process multiple times.

Weirdly calming. Oddly immersive. Invisible? These weren’t the words I expected to come to my lips after sitting in a room for 30 minutes demoing Project StarlineGoogle’s prototype big-screen 3D video chat platform that’s now being tested in a few corporate offices outside of Google. Aside from a fist-bump that dissolved into pixels, it felt more real than I expected.

Google introduced Project Starline more than a year ago, during its 2021 Google I/O virtual developer conference, as a future vision of how virtual meetings might evolve. The idea feels perfectly conceived from pandemic times: a dream of how to get people feeling like they’re sitting next to each other even if they’re thousands of miles away.

Companies invested in VR and AR, like Meta, have imagined VR meetings with avatars as a way of bridging distances. VR’s tradeoff is a headset where you’re hiding your real face; video chats like Zoom let you see someone eye to eye, sort of, but you may feel glued to your laptop screen. Meta’s future avatars are designed to look nearly real, while being puppeted by face-scanning cameras. Project Starline achieves the effect in a different way, by just projecting a real-time 3D feed of your face.

Project Starline is a two-way video chat, but what stunned me was how it also felt, to some degree, like something AR, or holographic. And, eventually, sort of like nothing at all.
